a place for students
“Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.”

As a Christian church that meets on the University of Arizona campus, Damascus Road has many unique offerings for students to meet them where they are at on their journey of faith over these next few years.
Damascus Road is a non-denominational Christian church on the University of Arizona campus and the most accessible to students searching for a place to worship and grow in their faith.
Join us each Sunday at 10:30am on campus at the McClelland Park building as we gather for worship as a church community. Just come down Park Ave and follow the signs!
Jesus described the center of following Him as loving God and loving others. At Damascus Road you will find a unique cross-generational community of college students, young professionals, families with young children, and more who take hanging out, eating delicious food together, and having fun seriously!
Students at Damascus Road have an opportunity to build relationships with someone with decades of experience in their field, come over for home cooked meal in a family’s home, and even worship with U of A professors!
Join us for one of our Bible studies for students on the University of Arizona campus. We meet throughout the week and across campus so every student can find the group that will be the right fit for them.
Talk to one of our campus ministers on Sunday and they will help you connect with one.
Be with Jesus. Do as He did. Become like Him. We learn and practice the rhythms and ways of Jesus, like prayer, service, and Sabbath, so that God can deeply transform us from the inside out.
At Damascus Road, students are discipled one-on-one, as we walk alongside them, helping them to grow in spiritual maturity. Together we seek to practice life in the way of Jesus and grow in our faith.
Furthermore, Damascus Road is a cross-generational community, giving students access to spiritual and professional mentors of various ages, life stages, professions, and experiences to help students prepare for faith and life faith beyond graduation.
Students at Damascus Road have opportunities to serve and lead in a community that is more than just their peers. From running services behind the scenes to leading worship up front, students can be trained to serve in many areas that fit their giftings and passions.
With Damascus Road, students can also serve their community in significant ways. Whether that is through our on campus Water Table where we offer cool, fresh water to thirsty students or our monthly Mobile Food Bank where we partner with Caring Ministries to distribute boxes of food to our campus community, students can make an impact around the University of Arizona and Tucson.
After their first year, students can apply to Damascus Road's student internship. As a part of the internship, students will be discipled in a one-on-one mentorship, trained to lead, and develop new skills that are useful for both ministry and life.
This is not just for students interested in professional ministry, but is great for any student to grow in their walk with Jesus and mature into a spiritually healthy adult.
Students can join Damascus Road on spiritual retreats in the fall and spring designed to help students on their walk with Jesus. Students also have opportunities to travel on service trips to places like Mexico and Honduras!
