In the modern era, truth could be found, if you just drilled down far enough, asked the right questions, and followed sound logic. But as the end of the rational rabbit hole has failed to give meaning and life, post-modernism explores a new idea of truth. Maybe truth is decided by me. This huge shift in the conceptual framework of how people engage with the world can be stymying if we continue to approach evangelism and sharing Jesus from a rationalistic, modern framework. People don't need us to "prove" that Jesus exists or that he's right. Instead, we need to meet people where they are at in postmodernism and introduce them to a Jesus that can satisfy the needs and questions we all struggle with. In this series, we will explore how to share Jesus in a postmodern world that deeply yearns for him, even if they don't know it yet, and in a way that individual, unique people can actually hear.

There is a way to be human.

Everyone wants to put in their two cents on how to do it -- buy all the things you can, strive to get to the top, cancel the haters, look out for number one, do some yoga, eat vegan, eat keto, eat nothing but avocados. It's overwhelming. How do we actually know how to live a life worth living? Which way is the "right" way?

Jesus says, "This is the way." By his life, by his words, by his practices, God-incarnate showed us the way to be fully human, to live the abundant, thriving human life. Join Damascus Road for our new series This is the Way. And the way might surprise you.
